Part-1
Hello to everyone myself is ganesh this my first story if it good please support me.
This story is based on my own thinking . Let’s go inside the store.
The sun was bright, another ordinary day, and Valentine, a passionate zoologist, was eager to start her shift at the state-of-the-art zoo. Her heart beat with excitement for the animal kingdom, a love nurtured since her college days.
This wasn't just any zoo. It was a marvel of modern engineering, a fortress designed to keep both animals and people safe. A towering 20-foot concrete wall, 20 inches thick, encircled the entire facility, an impenetrable barrier against any escape. No trees, no ledges, nothing to climb. Two heavy-duty carbon steel gates, virtually unbreakable, served as the main entrances, designed to automatically lock in case of animal escape. In emergencies, only high-ranking officials could override the system. And if, by some impossible chance, an animal breached its enclosure, a 5-foot electrical fence atop the wall would activate, making escape utterly impossible. The zoo was home to over 400 species, a living library of the animal world.
Valentine, specializing in reptiles, worked alongside her friends, their days filled with observation and research. But this morning felt different. An unsettling quiet hung in the air. The animals, usually bustling with morning activity, were strangely still. Something was amiss, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Unbeknownst to her, a secret research team had been operating within the zoo for years. Their clandestine project: creating a medicine to enhance human strength and abilities. Frustrated by the incompatibility of animal and human genetics, they had developed a genetically modified feed. This feed, they believed, would alter the genetic makeup of the animals born to those who consumed it, making them compatible with human DNA.
After five years of illegal experimentation, they had achieved a breakthrough. The offspring of the animals fed the modified feed possessed genetic structures remarkably similar to humans. These newborns were isolated and studied. However, the researchers hadn't fully grasped the consequences of their experiment. The animals that ate the feed were changing, their behavior becoming increasingly…unpredictable.
Valentine arrived at 7 a.m., as usual. By 10 a.m., the zoo's opening time, the animals remained eerily silent. They stood motionless, staring blankly, as if frozen in time. No sounds, no movements. Just stillness. It was a chilling sight.
Alarmed, Valentine urged her superiors to close the zoo. She knew something was seriously wrong. But they dismissed her concerns, unwilling to disrupt the day's schedule.
Then, after three hours of unnerving silence, the animals snapped out of their trance. They returned to their normal routines, but the unsettling experience left Valentine deeply shaken. She couldn't shake the feeling that something had fundamentally changed. What had happened during those three hours? And what would happen next? The secret of the modified feed, and its effects, was still hidden, but Valentine knew, deep down, that the quiet was just the calm before a storm.
