The Man Who Tore Time
Our story begins not with a bang, but with a whimper, on a moonless night in 1996. We're introduced to our "hero," a man whose life, even from the very beginning, seemed to be a series of unfortunate events. To understand him, we must first go back to his chaotic birth.
It was Amavasai, the new moon night, precisely 1 AM. His mother was gripped by the agonizing pangs of labor. Alone with her was her father, our hero's grandfather. In that era, and on such an inauspicious night, finding a vehicle was an impossible task. Forget booking an Ola or Uber; those simply didn't exist in '96.
His grandfather frantically searched, but it was Diwali. The city was already stirring, preparing for the dawn celebrations. Every vehicle was either celebrating or preparing to begin their festive duties. Yet, against all odds, he finally found one. But as with everything in our hero's life, there was a complication.
Just a month prior, an X-ray had revealed the baby was in a breech position, making a natural birth impossible. An operation was the only way. But on Diwali night, the hospital was deserted, doctors scarce. It seemed fate had a twisted sense of humor.
Yet, sometimes, even Time itself orchestrates miracles. And so it did for our hero. In a bizarre twist of fate, the severely broken, pothole-ridden roads of 1996 India became an unlikely savior. The jarring, bumpy ride to the hospital, instead of causing more harm, somehow, miraculously, shifted the baby into the correct position.
No one quite understood how, but the baby was born, against all medical odds, without an operation. Even in his very arrival, he brought chaos, and remarkably, a strange kind of luck. What further troubles will he face as he navigates a life seemingly designed to test his limits? We'll soon find out.
What do you want to explore next about our hero's life after this extraordinary birth?
